This course introduces students to the operating and maintaining of decompression chambers. This cause is normally incorporated into the ADAS Part 3 Course. This course can be taken as a stand alone course by both divers and non-divers.
The program includes the operation and maintenance of decompression chambers. This course intends to prepare students with the appropriate diving physics and physiology theory competencies and the practical skills required to safely operate a two place compression chamber for decompression, and decompression operations.
An Advanced Chamber Operator course is also available for those whose focus is on therapeutic chamber use.
All ADAS Part 3 divers are required to hold this certificate as it is vital for work offshore in the oil and gas industry.
Successful completion of this course results in the following Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification:
Chamber Operator: Partial completion of Certificate IV in Hyperbaric Operations (Chamber system). (National Qualification Code: 11006NAT, awarded by Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS), Registered Training Organization (RTO) Number 88104).
Advanced Chamber Operator: Certificate IV in Hyperbaric Operations (Chamber system). (National Qualification Code: 11006NAT, awarded by Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS), Registered Training Organization (RTO) Number 88104).

it was the best 3 months of my life, it went so quick as the course was enjoyable and we were doing different things every day. Thanks, CDA for a great course and helping me find employment after the course. Anyone thinking of doing the course just do it you want regret it, the school has great facilities, you’ll meet new friends and get the best training available anywhere.

The facility, equipment and training that is offered and available to students is nothing short of amazing. The Saturation barge is an experience within its self. I'd doubt you'd get this type of experience anywhere else in the southern hemisphere.

one of the biggest things a noticed was that students even from Part 1 and 2 were being trained exactly as we would if we were working on an offshore and onshore worksite. Something I feel I missed out from previous training elsewhere.
